Esther Nash

She was born on April 10, 1923 to John and Willinda VandenBeldt in Zeeland.

Esther was a member of Christ Memorial Church. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, as well as a friend to many. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, crafts and watching birds at her feeders.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, George H. Nash Jr.; her twin sister, Evelyn Pyle; and brothers, Willard and John VandenBeldt.

Esther is survived by her children, Paula and Mark Nieuwsma of Grand Haven, Greg Nash of Allegan, Steven and Valerie Nash of Shelbyville, Jeffrey Nash of Holland, and Jill and Mike Marcinkus of Zeeland; grandchildren, Jennifer and Doug Veldhuizen, Chad, Meredith, and Emily Nieuwsma, Justin, Brittany, and Megan Nash, Christopher Nash, Jenna Nash, Ryan, Kaylee, and Kyle Marcinkus, along with 6 very special great grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Mrs. Willard (Ruth) VandenBeldt of Holland, and Mrs. John (Dorothy) VandenBeldt of Zeeland and several nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be this evening, Monday, August 4, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland.

The service will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Christ Memorial Church, 595 Graafschap Rd., Holland.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland.
