She resided at Appledoorn Assisted Living where they lovingly cared for her.
Evelyn was born in Holland on October 21, 1938 to James and Frances Van Iwaarden. She married Terry Allen Dykstra on April 11, 1958. They were long time members of Holland Heights CRC and shared three children together.
Evi was a loving homemaker and enjoyed painting, sewing, canning, baking, puzzels, games, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She and Terry enjoyed traveling to many destinations in and out of the country.
She is preceded in death by husband Terry Dykstra, son Steven Dykstra and sisters Leona, Ruth and Linda.
Evi is survived by her son Jeff Dykstra, daughter Kristy Dykstra, daughter in law Kathy Dykstra; 4 grandchildren Leah (Mike), Lucas (Shannon) Heather and Heidi; 4 great grandchildren Christopher, Cera, Cecily and Brooklyn.
Public visitation will be held at Lakeshore Funeral Home on Friday November 7, 3:00 to 5:00.
