

Glenn was born and raised in Holland, a graduate of Holland High School (1962) and Ferris State College (1965). He served in the United States Army, Special Forces from 1966-69. Glenn worked for Lokker-Rutgers, Sears, and the Holland Country Club for many years, eventually retiring from Sam’s Club. A “bargain hunter” at heart, Glenn loved collecting things and gardening. He was a member of the Holland American Legion.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Leonard and Ruth (Witt) Rummler; mother-in-law, Dorothy Heavilin; and a niece, Patty Hale.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Pat Rummler; 2 daughters, Aimee Streur of Pentwater and Renee (Steve Essenburg) Kwiatkowski of Hudsonville; grandchildren, Ashley (Javier) Prado of Holland, Matthieu Streur of Holland; great grandchildren, Kaedence, Khameryn, and Javier Prado; sister, Judy (Milford) Hale of Big Rapids; Father-n-law, Chuck (Donna) Heavilin, of Douglas; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Celeste (Bob) Gerde of Minnesota, Charles Heavilin, Jr. of Gobles, Dan (Char) Heavilin of Fennville, Anna (Brian) Males of Fennville, John (Lana) Heavilin of Hamilton; Step brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill (Nancy) Beery of Douglas, Donita Beery of Otsego, Don (Patty) Beery of Saugatuck; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
Cremation will take place.
Private burial with military honors will be at Ventura Cemetery.
