Harriet Jean Vanderby

Harriet loved to travel. She owned and operated Bee Custom Kitchens and Bath, Inc., with her husband John, from 1983 until his death in 2000. She was a former member of Second Reformed Church in Zeeland, where she played the organ for many years.

Preceding her in death was her husband John Vanderby; parents, John and Jean Vander Meer; and her 3 brothers, Simon, Diemer, and Andrew Vander Meer.

She is survived by her children, Jim (Beth) Vanderby of Toledo, OH, Dr. Steve (Kathy) Vanderby of Melbourne, FL, Mark Vanderby of Palm Bay, FL, and Tom Vanderby of Holland; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; many extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be 12noon, Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Second Reformed Church, 225 East Central Ave., Zeeland. Officiating will be Rev. Lewis Vander Meer.

Visitation will be Friday from 6-8:00pm at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland, and Saturday from 11:30am until the time of the service at Second Reformed Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
