

Harv worked for 40 years at Chris Craft. He was also a painter and interior decorator in the Holland area. He was a US Army veteran and a member of Harlem Reformed Church. He was preceded in death by two brothers, four sisters, a son, Mark Hassevoort, and son-in-law, Larry Kleis.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lillian. Children: Gary & Elaine Hassevoort of Holland, Sheryl Kleis of Brohman, and Beth Hassevoort of Holland. Five grandchildren: Ryan & Lisa Hassevoort, Brent & Muria Hassevoort, Paul & Sarah Peterson, Mike & Trisha Smith, and Alex & Mishel Zamudio and ten great-grandchildren. Brothers and sisters: Elmer & Arlene Hassevoort of Zeeland, Ron & Wanda Hassevoort of Holland, Gordon & Marian Hassevoort of Holland, and Shirley & Michael Bleeker of Holland. In-laws: Toots Hassevoort, Lester and Pauline Hall and Bill and Carol Venema. Also survived by, many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation for the prayers and wonderful support shown to them by the staff at American House & Hospice, and friends from Harlem Reformed Church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, at 11:00, at Harlem Reformed Church with Rev. John Nyitray officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Harlem Reformed Church.
