On November 20, Jacob McCarty, 25, was called to his heavenly home.
Jacob was a devoted family man to his beautiful wife, and his beloved daughters.
Jacob had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed kayaking, fishing and camping with family. In his last few months, Jacob discovered a love of Frisbee golf.
Jacob leaves behind a wife, Melody, daughters, Kenzi Renae and Avary "Ava" Shawn. Father and mother, Wallace and Debra McCarty. Brothers, David McCarty and Adam (Sara) McCarty. Father and mother in-law, John and Mary VanKampen. Brother in-law, Cory Johnson, and sister in-law Kacy Nash.
Niece and nephews, Olivia and Nolan McCarty, and Christyon and Zechariah Johnson. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins. Jacob also leaves behind many friends that were close to his heart.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 24, from 6:30-8:30 PM at Lakeshore Church of Christ, 711 Butternut Dr., Holland, MI 49424.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 25, at 11:00 AM at Lakeshore Church of Christ.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Jacob McCarty Memorial Fund at Macatawa Bank.
