James was born in Holland Jan. 19, 1946 to Ira and Pearl (Pitts) Olin. He was a member of the Salvation Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty and a brother Roger.
Surviving are his children, Jim (Kelly) Olin, John (Pat) Olin, Lori (Scott) Ten Brink, Jerry Olin, Terry (Mary) Olin, and Frank Olin; 19 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Bill (Norma) Fitts, and Mark Olin;
2 sisters, Dorothy (Bill) Brown and Eva (David De Ridder); Sister-in-law, Kathy Olin; Many extended family and friends.
Per his request, cremation will take place.
A memorial celebration of James’ life will be at a later date.
