Joe Robert Sosa

Joe worked at BASF for many years and was involved with youth sports for most of his life. He was a member of Michigan High School Athletic Association, coaching and umpiring throughout West Ottawa and Grand Rapids. He also spent many years umpiring little league in Holland.

He was preceded in death by his father Bonifacio Sosa.

Surviving are his Wife Connie; Mother Amelia Sosa; 2 Brothers; A. Edward Sosa, Andy (Fran) Sosa; Niece Michelle (Jacob) Ohse, Nephews; Kristopher Sosa, Thaddeus (Teryn) Sosa and Nathan Sosa, Brother in Law, Gordon (Cheryl) Mack and many extended family and friends.

A time of visitation will be from 10-11am with a memorial mass to celebrate Joe’s life at 11:00am on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Immediately following the mass a luncheon will be provided.
