They were members of New Richmond Baptist Church. John was a veteran of US Army, serving during the Vietnam War.
Preceding them in death were 3 grandchildren (Johnathan, Heather, and Raymond); 1 great grandchild (Selena); John’s 4 siblings, and Bobbye’s 2 siblings.
They are survived by 3 daughters, Barbara (Joe) VanDrash, Cecelia Torres, Robin (Craig) Holmes; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer, Rachel, Destiny, Cindy, and Lucy; 10 great grandchildren; John’s siblings, Roger (Melva) Bronkhorst, Mike (Virginia) Bronkhorst, Sandy (Cal) Reimink; Bobbye’s siblings, Linda (Bruce) Hozee, Brenda Sue Tompke, Mollie Hoggard, George (Nancy) Gaskin, James (Cheryl) Gaskin, Charles (Josie) Gaskin, and John (Mary) Hoots; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
A service to celebrate John and Bobbye’s life will be 2:00pm Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at New Richmond Baptist Church, 1909 Transport Lane, Holland. Rev Dr. Franklin Senters will officiate. Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery
Visitation will be from 1:00pm until the time of the service at New Richmond Church.
