Jose Oviedo Jr.

Jose was born on April 20th, 1968 in Harlingen, TX to Jose Oviedo Sr. and Maria Magdalena Oviedo. He graduated from Bloomingdale High School in 1986. Jose had a very good work ethic, as he spent 34 years working at Haworth. Besides working, he loved to spend a lot of time with family. Jose loved to be outside grilling and camping. When he wasn’t manning the grill, Jose really enjoyed riding quads and motorcycles. Jose had a huge love for watching his Michigan State Spartans play football. Win or lose, it was always “Go Green”.

Jose is survived by: his wife of 3 years, Janet Oviedo; children, Alejandro (Nicole) Oviedo, Nikolas (Lauren) Oviedo; grandson, Grayson Oviedo; mother, Maria Magdalena Oviedo; sisters, Selma (Daniel) Bargas, Yvonne (Jason Saetang) Oviedo; brother, Israel (Juanita) Oviedo; many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Jose was preceded in death by: his father Jose Oviedo Sr.; grandparents, Jesus and Vicenta Hernandez, and Juanita Oviedo.

A visitation will take place on Friday March 11th, from 2-4 at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St. Holland, MI 49424. A burial will take place after the visitation at 5:00 at Taylor Cemetery, 2300 68th St. Fennville, MI 49408.
