Karen was born in Bay City, Michigan to Floyd and Ramona Kukla. While living there, she met a young man named Brian, and was smitten. They wed in December of 1980, and would go to live all over the state, eventually settling in Holland. Karen loved spending time with her family, and was a loving grandmother to two wonderful grandchildren. Karen is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brother Rickey Kukla.
She is survived by her husband Brian; Children: Christopher and Ashley Ristau, Corey Ristau; Grandchildren: Brianna Elizabeth Ristau, Lilah Rose Ristau; Brother Robbie Kukla. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, November 23, 2015 at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland.
Burial will take place in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, from 12noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gilda’s Club.
