Lorraine was a very special friend to my mother when mom (Dorothy Shotts) was the pastor’s wife at Ventura Baptist Church in Holland, Michigan. I am so glad they are reunited now in heaven. My condolences to the family.

We give thanks to God for Lorraine for her long life of service to the Glory of God. She had a big heart for missions to be used by God to lead others to Jesus both locally and around the world.

Mom Palmer was the best Mom and Mother-in-Law any of us could have asked for. Her love for our Lord as well as us was next to none but she never said she hated anyone, just some of the things they did or said. She would just pray for them. Many of her prayers were for her children, extended family, and Jerri Pat and I. For this we will be eternally great full. Although she is deeply missed, our sorrow is softened by the fact that she is reunited with her husband again in heaven. May the good Lord bless all who read this note! Lorraine has been such a blessing to me through the Appledorn Bible Study. Her love for the Lord, her family and her eagerness to dive into Scripture has been a testimony to many of her deep faith -especially in the face of life's difficult times. I want to be like her when I grow up!

I am thankful for the privilege of calling her my friend and fellow ambassador for Christ.

She will be missed!!!

Judy, Jerri, John, Julie and Jean,
You have my Deepest Sympathy. My thoughts and Prayers are with you all. I will so miss your Mom. I sat with her every Sunday morning at church. We would talk until the singing started. She always had a smile on her face and we would laugh a lot too. She never had anything to complain about because she always said the Lord was so good to her. She was such a sweetheart and I will dearly miss seeing her but when I get to Heaven I will see her and talk with her again.
