Louis was born in Frankfort, MI to Louis Sr. and Joyce (Kochanowski) Lenz. He was a longtime resident of Kaleva, MI where he served on the Fire Department for over 30 years, and was a longtime member of the Lions Club. Louis also worked as an EMT, was a licensed electrician, and loved to hunt and fish, and metal detect in his spare time with his son. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Lynn Lenz.
Louis is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kathy; son Michael Louis Lenz; Kathy's daughter Cynthia (Ronald) Keaton; grandchildren Ronald “RJ” Keaton and Ali Keaton; brother Paul Lenz; twin sisters LeAnn and LuAnn; special cousins Ray (Bonnie) Lenz, Richard (Becky) Lenz, and Jeanie Lenz; many extended family and friends.
At his request, no services are planned. A private gathering to honor Louis’ life will take place at a later date.
