Paul Lamar

Paul was a member of Park Christian Reformed Church where he served as an elder and deacon, and was a member of the Men’s Society and a Prayer Group. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Paul was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annetta Grace Lamar in 2002; and brothers, Jim Lamar, Russ Lamar, Jack Lamar, and Nelson Lamar.

He is survived by his children, Ann Lamar of Lansing, Debra (Robert) Yonker of Holland, Lavonne (Jim) DeKoster of Holland, and Timothy (Lisa) Lamar of East China, MI; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Bouwman of Holland; brothers, Gilbert (Lynn) Lamar and Dave (Marcia) Lamar both of Holland; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lucille Lamar of Holland, Cathy Van Haitsma of Grand Haven, Jeanette Overway, of Holland, Arlene Dykstra of Zeeland, Art Dykstra of Three Rivers, Chuck (June) Dykstra of Kalamazoo; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00pm, Monday, May 25, 2015, at Park Christian Reformed Church, 1496 West 32nd Street, Holland, MI 49423.

Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00pm, Monday, May 25, 2015, at the same location. Burial will be held at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
