

Mr. Hoffman attended Harlem Reformed Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and was the owner/operator of Hoffman Trucking for over 50 years.
Preceding him in death were siblings and in-laws, Joan and Don Dekker, Harvey and Marlene Hoffman, Harley Hassevoort, and John Smidt.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Phyllis Hoffman of Holland; children, Cynthia (Terrence) O’Neil, Richard (Alicia) Hoffman, Russell (Julie) Hoffman, Crystal (Michael) McCarthy, and Constance (Karl) Vander Zwaag; grandchildren, Johnathan, Lindsay, Cameron, Kayla, Karra, Robert, Phillip, Katie, Addie; great grandchild, Kennedy; Sisters, Betty Smidt, Doris (Jim) Geib, and Carol Rutgers; in-laws, Ken (Anita) Hassevoort, Betty Hassevoort, Pauline (Don) Nauta, and Bruce Hassevoort; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be 11:00am, Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Harlem Reformed Church, 6854 144th Ave., Holland. Officiating will be the Rev. John Nyitray. Entombment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 9-11:00am prior to the service at Harlem Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Hospice of Holland, or to Evergreen Commons.
