Sandra Broekhuizen

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ella Groote and her sister, Dorothy Genzink, brother, John Groote.

She is survived by her husband, Andy Broekhuizen; children, Douglas (Susan) Broekhuizen of Holland, Steven (Evonne) Broekhuizen of Holland, Joel (Tammy) Broekhuizen of Zeeland; 7 Grandchildren, Mindy (John) Elizardo, Brandon (Alison) Broekhuizen, Nathan, Emily, Lauren, Kyle and Tyler; 2 Great-Grandchildren, Abel and Fabian Elizardo; Brothers, Ervin Groote of Zeeland; Brothers and Sister-in- Law, Jackie Groote of Zeeland, Etta Kirk of Edwardsburg, MI, Hero and Glennys Broekhuizen of Zeeland, Anco and Mary Broekhuizen of Decatur, Annette and Tom Dyer of Diamondale, MI, Marjorie and Stan Bergsma of Holland; Several cousins, nephews and nieces.

A funeral service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014 at North Street Christian Reformed Church, 20 East Main in Zeeland. Rev. Shaun Furniss will officiate. Burial will be in Zeeland Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 30, from 4:00-7:00 PM at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street in Holland.
