Stella Lee Parker

Stella Lee (Rice) Parker, age 75, of Zeeland, met her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 26th, 2018. Stella was born in Paintsville, Kentucky, grew up in Fairborn, Ohio, and met her husband Ted Parker while attending Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana.

She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker to her family but she always opened her heart and home to family, friends and strangers. She later worked at Central Wesleyan Church, Holland City Mission, and various local banks.

Stella was preceded in death by two children, Lisa Kay Parker (1964) and Jason Spencer Parker (1975). Stella was well-loved by many and is survived by her husband Ted Parker, her children, Joni (Brian) VanRhee and Julie (Jeff) Zylstra, her grandchildren, Jessica (Adam) Fernandez, Alyse (DJ) Henrickson, Marlee (Jason) Foley, Zachary Zylstra, Joshua Zylstra, Hannah Zylstra, and Yujiao Zheng, and her seven great-grandchildren, Parker, Dresden, Jameson, Xander, Dinorah, Cora, Theodora. She is also survived by beloved brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Lakeshore Memorial Services at 11939 James Street, Holland, on Thursday, June 28, from 5:30-8:00 pm and a service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at Central Wesleyan Church, 446 W. 40th Street, Holland, on Friday, June 29, at 11:00 am, please use door D or G.
