William Dale Voss

Bill found joy in the outdoors, especially boating on Lake Michigan and snowmobiling through Northern Michigan. He began his working career with the family business, "Voss Boys," and later went on to own and operate his own car lots and service stations. Bill eventually explored a number of different sales jobs, bringing his hands-on experience to each new role. In recent years, Bill enjoyed working at Mast Heating and Cooling.

Bill is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carole Voss; his son, Marcus Voss (and Shelley), grandchildren, Karter and Allie Voss. He is also remembered by his sister-in-law MaryJo Voss, in-laws John and Kathie VanderWeide, and Gary and Kathy VanderWeide, along with several nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Gladys (Zoerhoff) Voss, and his brother, Jack Voss.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 13, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., followed by a service for close friends and family at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harbor Humane Society.
