Alfreda was born in the Republic of Panama to Maria Wilkins and Aldridge Murrell on July 12, 1930. She graduated high school in Panama. She married Rupert Scott on April 30, 1988, in Brooklyn, NY. She worked as a Refund clerk for Blue Cross Blue Shield for 25 years.
In her art and crafts class, at the senior center, she learned to use plastic canvas to make calendars, tissue boxes and vases and gifted to family and friends.
Alfreda is preceded in death by her husband Rupert Scott, her son, Horacio and grandson Antonio Benjamin.
She is survived by her daughter Beatriz, sons Arturo and Mario. Grandchildren: Arturo Jr, Shawana, Sheree, Jermaine Devin, and Tavis. Great-Grandchildren: Shaquan, Ebony, Nia, Leila, Mason, Riana and Justin.
Visitation will be 12noon Friday December 17, 2021 at Fred Hunters. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm December 17, 2021, at Fred Hunters. Burial will follow at Fred Hunters.
