Anthony Roppo, 83, of Pembroke Pines, FL, peacefully passed away on December 25, 2015. Anthony was born on June,8,1932, in Chicago, IL. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, MaryAnn (Obbagy), Sons, Anthony J Roppo and wife, Jan, of Sunrise, FL, Joseph E Roppo and wife, Nina, of Pembroke Pines, Daughter, Karen (Roppo) Rodriguez and Husband Eric of Pembroke Pines, brother James Roppo from CO,and sister Suzanne (Roppo) Gyllin from IL; two grandchildren, Emily Roppo, and Alyssa Rodriguez. He is preceded in death by his sister Georgene Jancaric of MN and grandson Anthony Roppo. Anthony served in the US Navy from 1951-1955 on the USS FDR CV42. He relocated from Chicago in 1970, to become the first mechanic hired to JM Pontiac in Hollywood. His passion was his family, the Navy, and playing golf.
