Beth Sharon Haun

Born in New York, New York on August 11, 1947, Beth was the daughter of the late Allan and Rose (Herbstman) Nisman. As a child Beth relocated to North Miami with her family, where she was a graduate of North Miami Senior High. On April 20, 1969 she married Carlyle "Carl" Haun with whom she shared 46 years in a wonderful life. The love for each other that Beth and Carl held in their hearts was admirable and absolute. Family was the essence of their union, yet their nieces and nephews held a special place in their lives as well and this will never be forgotten by all those who blessed to share their lives with them.

Beth worked in various fields as an administrative assistant, but the position she most looked forward to was at the Sheridan Park Elementary School where she was a volunteer. Beth was a very self-reliant, independent hardworking person of strong character that was balanced with generosity and compassion. Because of these traits, everyone whose life that Beth touched truly loved her.

Beth is survived by her husband, Carl; her twin sister, Joyce McKeehen and her husband Ron; her brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Audrey Nisman; many nieces, nephews especially Kimberlee and Jeffrey, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Carl is deeply appreciated for all the love and support shown to him during this most difficult time.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 at the Fred Hunter Funeral Home 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood. Beth's funeral service and Celebration of Life will commence on Sunday morning August 23, 2015 at 11:00 at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Gardens.
