

Bibi Zebeeda Khan was born on October 24, 1952 in Georgetown, Guyana to Azeem and Zohora Khan. Bibi had 7 siblings: Azad Khan (deceased), Ferita Khan (deceased), Azeed Khan (deceased), Shaeeda Bissoon (deceased), Rafi Khan, Kamal Khan, and Amina Hing.
Bibi Khan came to the United States in 1992 with her 4 children and their father Hassan Haniif . They resided in the Bronx, New York for a short period and then settled in Hollywood, Florida with her brothers, Rafi and Kamal, and sister Shaeeda.
Bibi is survived by her 4 children, Sheed Hanniff and his wife Novlette, Omar Hanniff and wife Shelly, Sheamieza Majid and husband Dennis, and Sadeek Hanniff. Her 9 grandchildren Rebekah, Shane, Joshua, Rajin, Rajiv, Isiah, Isaac, Isabel, and Mileena.
Bibi went back to school and received her child care degree and worked in the school system for some time. In 1996, Bibi was diagnosed with Lupus and due to this illness, she suffered from other issues and had to have open heart surgery. Following that, she was diagnosed with Kidney failure causing her to receive a kidney transplant in 2012. As a result of the kidney transplant, Bibi was diagnosed with a hernia, causing many other medical issues. Then, Bibi lost her younger sister, Shaeeda leaving her heartbroken. Bibi lost her battle and passed away on November 26, 2019.
Bibi Khan was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and a woman of faith. She was a member of the Sunrise Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She felt at home in her church and was very much loved by her congregation. Her faith was strong like no other. Bibi adored her family. She was very close to her nieces and nephews, Khyume, Rasheed, Marlyn, Shailendra, Sultan, Vivian, Imran, and Alicia. She also had a strong bond with her Auntie Isha, having weekly phone calls. She helped raised all her 9 grandchildren for many years. Whoever knew Bibi, knew she loved her children and grandchildren very much. She was so proud of them.
Bibi was a fun-loving and kind person. Her family is grateful for the precious memories and time spent with her. She will be very dearly missed by her family and all those who knew her. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain and resting in peace.
