Carol Ann was born on June 16th, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY. She entered the Sisters of St. Joseph Convent in Brentwood, NY in September 1962 and left the order in August of 1966.
She received her B.A. in Education from St. Johns University and obtained her M.A. in Education from Queens College.
Carol Ann became an Elementary School Teacher and taught at P.S. 132 in Brooklyn, NY until moving to Sunrise, FL in August of 1974. Carol Ann taught at Palmview Elementary and then at Westchester Elementary School in Coral Springs, FL until her retirement in 2010.
Carol Ann also received her Admin/Supervision degree from Nova University an a M.A. in Theology from St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Palm Beach County, FL.
Carol Ann is preceded in death by her parents Gerardo and Catherine Bonito, and her sister Rosemary Gloria Samo.
Carol Ann is survived by her brother Gerard Bonito, niece Catherine Ann Samo and Lisa (partner), nephew Russell Samo and Sara (wife), nephew Matthew Bonito, niece Stephanie Bonito, great-niece Christina Crook and Scott (husband), great-niece Jennifer Samo and great-great-niece Gabriella Crook.
