Carol Ann Winkley was born July 21, 1943 in Holyoke, MA to Milda & Ernest Ittner. Carol was gifted from day one with a loving and joyful nature. She went through life making those around her happy with her warm, caring attitude and huge, generous heart.
She married and had three children, Ernestine, David and Robert, and was a dedicated, loving mother. She went on to become a devoted grandmother as the family grew.
Throughout her life, with its hardships, lessons, trials and triumphs, Carol always stayed positive and never lost her sense of humor. She liked to express herself in poetry, creating a book called Poems over the Bridge of Time.
She went to be with her Heavenly Father on December 28, 2012. She was an active member of Cooper City Church of God where she exhibited the true heart of a Christian by giving her time, talents and resources to many children's ministries as well as various missionaries. Her main goal in life was to introduce others to her faith and her best friend, Jesus, so they could experience the love of God, as she did.
To all who knew her, she was fun-loving, extremely sociable, and most of all family-oriented. She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Robert Byron Winkley (wife - Aimee Winkley); son in-law Cary Lamar Black II;grandchildren Elizabeth Anne Black; Cary Lamar Black III; John David Winkley; and Violet Ann Ernestine Winkley. She was preceded in death by her daughter,Ernestine May Black, and son David Alexander Winkley.

She will forever be in our hearts.
