Chris Daughdrill

David Christopher Daughdrill (Chris), 51 years old, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away on June 28, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

Chris leaves behind his partner Gustavo Valverde; mother Jackie Daughdrill; sister Tami Daughdrill; father David Daughdrill; stepmom Marilyn Daughdrill; his aunts Gene Brown, Joan Brown, Gail Brown; his uncle Tom Brown; and many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers. 

Chris was born on September 12, 1969 in Homestead, FL.  He lived the majority of his years in Fort Lauderdale, and a few years in Boston and Mexico.  Chris spent much of his career at Aetna Healthcare and cared dearly for those with whom he worked. 

Chris loved to travel, eat fancy food, and especially loved airplanes. He could look up in the sky and tell you the make and model of any jet plane! 

Chris was a caring and kind soul, full of joy, and always ready to share a smile and a laugh.  He will be greatly missed by all that had the honor to meet and know him.  

Services for Chris will be held on July 8, 2021 at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home - 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024. 

Visitation: 11:00AM to 1:00PM

Funeral Service: 1:00PM

Reception: 2:30PM to 4:30PM
