Born in Richwood, West Virginia on April 20, 1927. Son of James and Orpha Davis. He was raised on a farm. In 1945 he joined the Coast Guard and was station in Massachusetts area. Where he meet and married Anne Murphy in 1949 and moved to New London, Connecticut. Then they moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1967 after retirement from the military. They spend summers in Wareham for many years.
Survived by his devoted grandson Thomas David Davis and granddaughter Maria Martha Ramirez. Also, brother Roger Jerome (Pat) Davis. And by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased besides by his parents James and Orpha Davis are his beloved wife Anne Bernadette (Murphy) and their son Thomas James. Also, his brothers
