David Wayne Pafford

David was born in Limestone, Maine to Jeane and Jesse D. Pafford, Jr on October 31, 1962.  He attended Hollywood Hills High School. 

David is preceded in death by his Mother Jeane M Smith, Father Jesse D. Pafford Jr, Maternal Grandparents Frederick and Emily B Reed, Paternal Grandparents Jesse Sr and Annabel Pafford, Uncle George Reed, Aunt Jeanette (Reed) Smith, and cousin Marko F Reed and his loveable Furbaby, Saydi.

David worked for Broward County as a Head Mechanic for several years as well as owned his business, Diamond Dave’s Lawn Service. 

Along with his favorite hobbies of fishing and collecting Hot Wheels, David had a Huge Heart and was always looking for ways to give to those less fortunate. His favorite organization was the Toys in the Sun Run where he was a big donor, often donating bikes to kids. The greatest of his Charitable acts was being an Organ Donor. Through his Selfless and Final act, David was able to Save 3 Lives by donating his organs. 

David was survived by his fiancé, Shari Dee Cohen, her mother Myrna Cohen, Brother Patrick Pafford, Sister Jeane Toueg (Rami), Cousins Caron Wright and Michael Reed, as well as nieces, nephews, a great niece and great nephews, and his newest puppy, Chomprs.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 4:00pm - 6:00pm on Sunday February 26, 2023 at Fred Hunter COMMUNITY CENTER 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024.

The family of David Wayne Pafford wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Memorial Regional Hospital ICU Staff (esp. Erin and Ivania) as well as LAORA (Life Alliance Organ Recovery Agency), notably, Grecia.
