David Patrick Rowe

David Patrick Rowe Esq. 58, of Miami-Dade, Florida passed away on January 12, 2018 in Miami-Dade, Florida. He was born in Savanna-La-Mar, Westmoreland, Jamaica W.I.to Ira and Audrey Rowe on May 8, 1959.

David married Rosemarie D. Robinson Esq. on April 28, 1984 in Kingston, Jamaica.

He obtained his Bachelor of Laws Degree with Upper Second Honors from the University of the West Indies in 1980. He also obtained his Juris Doctor Degree in Law from the University Of Miami School Of Law in 1982. In 1980 David was awarded both The West Indies Exhibition Scholarship and the John F. Kennedy/Martin Luther King Academic Scholarship.

David was an Adjunct Professor at the University Of Miami School Of Law for over 20 years where he created the school's Caribbean Law Program and mentored many students during his tenure. He was the author of several books and articles on national and International law. He practiced law nationally and internationally for over 30 years.

David is survived by his wife Rosemarie D. Robinson Rowe Esq.; sister Dr. Patricia Rowe King; nephews, Troy King and Jordan King; niece, Mya King; grand-niece Celeste King; brother-in-law, Tony King; sisters-in-law, Audrey Robinson, Sandra Robinson and Nadine Robinson; god-mother Norma Petgrave; Cousin, Ambassador Byron Blake CD. Also left to mourn his passing are several aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held at Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church located at 2801 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024 on January 25th, 2018 from 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. Funeral services will follow at Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church located at 2801 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024 at 10.00 a.m. on January 25th, 2018. Burial to follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens North, 3001 N. 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, FL 33024. Repast to follow.
