Donald George Tua, 76, of Pembroke Pines, Florida formerly of Fort Lauderdale passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Broward General Medical Center following a long illness. He was born in New York City on November 27, 1934, the son of George and Jeanne (Revelli) Tua. Donald served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War where he received the National Defense Service Medal. Before his retirement, he worked in construction. Don is survived by his loving sister, Lorraine Romano, nephew, Richard Romano, niece Lisa Meneses and her husband Alex, two great nephews, Matthew Meneses and Sean Barker. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his brother, Richard James Tua in 1993. A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, October 2nd at 2:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Garden Home, 6301 Taft Street Hollywood. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Private interment will be held at Hollywood Memorial Gardens.
