Donna L Sullivan

Donna was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA to Edward & Dorothy Holdsworth on July 11, 1948.  She married James D. Sullivan on June 30, 1973. Donna worked as a Teacher for the Philadelphia School District for over 30 years. She was passionate about educating young minds and impacting young hearts. 

Donna is preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 50 years, James Sullivan; her brother Richard Holdsworth and parents Edward & Dorothy Holdsworth. 

Donna is survived by her loving children Timothy Sullivan, Maureen Everly, John Everly (husband), Katy Shapiro and David Shapiro (husband.) She is also survived by her 8 wonderful grandchildren Ashleigh Sullivan, Kacey Sullivan, Jared Everly, Johnny Everly, Alexis Everly, Jaden Sullivan, Sydney Shapiro and Liliana Shapiro. Donna is also survived by her great grandchildren Ayden Everly, Junior Everly and Tristan Everly. 

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m., July 6, 2023 at Fred Hunters Funeral Home, Davie Location. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 6th at Fred Hunter’s Funeral home, Davie Location with the Rev. Anthony Durante of Our Savior Lutheran Church officiating.   Burial will follow at the South Florida National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home.
