Edith E. Lewis, 94, of Ft. Lauderdale, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. She was born August 12, 1922 in Thorn Hill, TN to William and Katherine Jordan. Edith has lived in Florida for the past 39 years.
She is survived by her daughter Darlene Ash; grandsons Shannon Ash, Len August and Zachery Ash; granddaughter Sarah Robinson; great granddaughters Sienna and Sylvia Robinson, brother Elvin Jordan and sister Gladys Riddle. She is preceded in death by her husband Clifford Lewis; son Garry S. Ash, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Fred Hunter Funeral Home, 718 S. Federal Highway, Ft. Lauderdale 33316. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Entombment to follow at Lauderdale Memorial Park.
