Ellen was born in Castledawson, County Derry, Northern Ireland to Patrick and Ellen Shaw on November 26, 1940. She went to school at St. Mary’s Grammar School, Magherafelt. She married John Ambrose Greenwood on May 18th, 1963 in Fort Lauderdale at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church. She worked for Publix for 33 years.
Ellen is survived by her four children: Michael Greenwood (Leslie) of Georgia, Deirdre Brodey (Archie) of Davie, FL, Maureen Greenwood of Cooper City, FL and Brian Greenwood of Cooper City, FL. Grandchildren Katie and Kamryn Brodey, Michael and Tyler Greenwood. Sister-in-Law Marie Shaw of Magherafelt, Northern Ireland.
