
Elmer "Bud" G. Webber is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty J. Webber, six children, Judith A. Webber-Smith, Gary L. Webber, Jane M. Webber-Jones, Cynthia R. Webber-Shell, Michael Frank Webber, and Vicki Lynn Webber. Also fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Elmer Galen Webber, was also known as Bud, by his close friends. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He met his sweetheart Betty Jane Farsetti in Ohio and they were married for 65 years as of April 1, 2012. He was determined to wish his wife a Happy Anniversary before he died and he did so. He and his wife lived in Ohio in their early years, moved to California and eventually settled in South Florida, Broward County back in the late 1950's. He had a long career with Royal Castle before retirement. He was a very loving family man who loved his family and never thought of himself. Elmer (Bud) passed away at home, on April 5, 2012, holding his wife's hand, four days after their 65th wedding anniversary.
A memorial service to celebrate and remember his life will be held at Lauderdale Community Church, 2647 North State Road 7, Lauderhill, FL 33314 on Sunday, May 20, 2012, at 4:00 PM. Inurnment with Military Honors will take place on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at 1:00 PM at South Florida VA National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33349.
