The funeral service will be held at 11:00AM February 18th, 2023 at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home in Hollywood, Florida. Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM February 17, 2023 at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home in Hollywood, Florida. Burial will be Monday at South Florida National Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home.
Eric worked as an equipment maintenance personnel for Department of Veteran’s Affairs. He enjoyed fishing, watching movies, and playing chess as well as a number of other board games.
Eric is preceded in death by his parents Juan R. Ferrer and Ana M. Negron, brothers John and Gregory Ferrer and his sister Roxanne Cordona.
Eric is survived by his wife of 30 years Pauline Ferrer, his children Anthony Ferrer, Arlene, Rachel Ferrer, Anna Ferrer, M. Ferrer, and Eric Ferrer Jr., 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and his stepchildren Troy Robinson, Shamara Robinson, and Cherine Foster and many nieces, nephews, as well as cousins Wilfredo Negron, Gladys Medero, Sandy Nicole Pearl, Carlos Ferrer, and Danny Cardona "nephew" in addition to other family and friends.
