Born in New York, New York on March 19, 1913, daughter of Giovanni and Lucia (Dimiceli) Governale. Raised and educated in The Bronx, worked as an industrial sewing machine operator in the clothing district for many years. Also worked in the Millinery business.
Survived by her daughter, Rosalie Induisi and her husband Salvatore "Sal" Induisi, son, John Gervasi and his wife, Kathleen Gervasi, two grandchildren, Jillian Jenna Balanovsky and Jospeh Anthony Gervasi, two great grandchildren, Angelina and Tyler Balanovsky. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Gervasi in 2002, brother, Russell Governale, sisters, Rose Ritacco and Lena Vinciquerra.
Visitation Saturday, December 15th from 1:30 ~ 2:30 at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street Hollywood. A Graveside Service will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with a Catholic prayer service with Monsignor Michael Conway officiating.
