Frances J. Newman

Flowers are in bloom, the air is crisp and life is teaming. Mary & Nicholas Hosko, at 711 Heaven, are expecting a delivery, and it's a daughter; Frances to return home. Frances, AKA, Penny, married Samuel Newman, remembered for "who wants to bet I make it to the first check from Social Security". They bore 2 sons, Arthur & Michael (Mickey) of fishing boat fame, and famed handicapper. Mickey inspired everyone he met with his courage, optimism after a tragic car accident left him paralyzed, 26 years in a wheelchair before his passing. He always said" Never complain if something bad happens, it could have saved your life", and "When things seem their worse, laugh more", "etc". Mickey was the dear beloved husband, 6-24-72 for 24 years to Joyce Newman, the faithful daughter-n-law, who stayed by their side til the end of each passing. Joyce is the publisher: " Exercise, Eat, Laugh, Love, Drive Well" and facilitator of the soon to be "Woman"s WOW Wellness Center", and Mickey & Joyce's son, Michael Martinez, and caregiver, Margo Davis. Penny will be greatly missed for her unusual sense of humor and Philosophy, after surviving the 20's, 30's, 40's and the loss of her 2 sons in 1994, & 1995. "Life is a merry go round, round & round like a whirlwind circle, where she stops nobody knows."" "Grab the brass ring", "These are the best of times", "These are the good old days" and "The best of these is Love" Penny (teacher teacher) spent her last month in Assisted Living Emerald, Hollywood Memorial, Golf Crest Rehabilitation, to return engagement Hollywood, and finally, VITAS (Life) Hospice. And finally, Penny was looking forward to her new home at the serene fun innovated with their walking even yoga exercise program, good food, and much more at the heavenly assisted living azalea with butterfly gardens in Hollywood with fish ponds and amazing staff like Maria Soto and owner Greg Anderson.

Services for Frances AKA Penny Newman will be held on Friday 13th, at 2:30 at Fred Hunters Memorial Gardens, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, 33024, where Sam, Penny, Artie, and Mickey will all be in entombment, placed All Together Forever More.
