He was born September 30, 1950 in Hudson NY , graduated Hudson High School in 1968, and lived in Hudson until relocating to Florida in 1978.
Frank was a hard worker and gave everything he could to his family, and was very generous with his many friends. While he lived in Hudson, "Frankie G" , as he was often called, enjoyed many adventures with his friends, and owned and operated a favorite local gathering place, Hudson Billiards. Among his close circle, he was known as the only guy in town who could put away nine Club Burgers from Carol's fast food, later to become Burger King.
When he moved to Florida, he started his career in business management first with Gulf Stream Race Track and then with a large business maintenance corporation covering South Florida. In his down time he was a collector, avid sports fan, and a lover of music. Most of all, he became a well respected and valued member of a Led Zeppelin group LZAA. He not only touched the lives of the people he loved, but also these people whom he connected with on FB with his incredible knowledge and giving nature. He is forever in our hearts.
Frank was predeceased by his parents Antoinette Gurny Gentile of Davie Florida, previously of Hudson NY; and Francis Vincent Gentile Sr. of Hudson NY. He is survived by his sister, Mary Ann Gentile Dodd of Kinderhook NY, and his daughter Tristan Gentile of Davie Florida. He also leaves behind a niece, Megan Dodd Klugo of East Greenbush, NY; nephew James Francis Dodd of Niskayuna, NY, and two great nieces, Ella and Harper Klugo; as well as several cousins .
An on-line video memorial service from Frank's home is planned for January 20th where friends and family can share stories, or just pay their respects. Revisit this site for specific details in mid-January.
