Franklin Boyce Whitaker

Franklin was born in Clinchfield, VA to John and Vera Whitaker on September 16, 1933. He married Jeanette Lambert.  He worked as a Owner/Operator for Whitaker Dozer, Inc. for 25 years.  He was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the Army. Franklin enjoyed all things music, singing, The Marlins Baseball and spending time with his family.

Franklin is preceded in death by Jeanette Whitaker, loving wife of 60 years and Damian Ramos, great grandson. 

Franklin is survived by Sons Franklin Whitaker, Jr., Tim Whitaker his Wife Vicki, Dwayne Whitaker and his fiancee Lisa Barone. Grandchildren and great grand children,  Michelle Thomas and her husband John and their children Carlie, Alex, Alivia. Dane Nicole Whitaker, Jaclyn Gordon and husband Josh and their son Cole. Brittani Episcopo her husband Justin and their Children Jaxon and Paisli. Dustin Whitaker his wife Amanda their son Emerson and waiting on the arrival of son Callen. Brady Whitaker and his fiancee Brittney Gulino.

A viewing will take place between 10:00 a.m. to 11:00a.m on  April 30, 2022 at  Bible Believers Baptist Church  10698 South US 1 Port St. Lucie, Florida 34952.

The Funeral services will be held at  11:00 a.m on April 30, 2022 Bible Believers Baptist Church 10698 South US 1 Port St. Lucie, Florida 34952 with the Pastor Aaron Hunter of Bible Believers Babtist church officiating. Burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens North Cemetery 3001 72nd Street Hollywood, Florida on May 2,2022 at 12 noon. 

The family of Franklin wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Jim Reis from Vitas Hospice, Pastor Arron Hunter and all the staff at Cleveland Clinic Hospital.
