

Genet Jean-Philippe was born in Bainet, Haiti, on June 22th 1950, to parents Emil Jean-Philippe and Genia Domesca. He grew up in Bainet where he enjoyed his childhood and some of his adult life. Genet met and married his beloved wife of 44 years, Enite Louis. He had an outstanding career, building beautiful houses and many other businesses before moving to Miami with his wife and children.
Tijo was a role model to many, an extremely hardworking provider for his family. He laid the ground for many future generations to come. Without formal education, he used his intelligence to build a successful business. He was a respected man, a beautiful soul, selfless, and a great father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with family and spent most of his final days around his family.
He is survived by his wife: Enite Louis, sons: Jorel Jean-Philippe, Emil Jean-Philippe, David Jean-Philippe; Daughters: Aliane “ Nadia” Jean-Philippe, Jonite Denis, Myrlande Charles. Grand Children: Ashley Denis, Jonathan Valescot, Shinaya Jean-Philippe, Aiden Valescot, Morianna Charles, Anabelle Jean-Philippe, Arielle Jean-Phillipe, and Madison Charles. Brothers: Toto, Majistra,Tizome; Sister: Tifi; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home Thursday, April 1st from 4pm to 8pm. A funeral will be held at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home Friday, April 2nd, 2021, at 10 AM. Fred Hunter is located at 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL.
