George Mitchell Reeves Jr.

The funeral service will be held at New Shiloh MB Church @11am 1350 NW 95th St. Miami, FL 33147. Pastor D.L. Powell of New Shiloh MB Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held at New Shiloh MB Church on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 10am-11am. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fred Hunter.

George Mitchell Reeves Jr. was born in Indianapolis, IN on January 29, 1950. He graduated from George Washington Carver High school in DeRidder, LA and continued on to the United States Marine Corps.

George was married to Fennie Bush on November 12, 1974 and later had a son, George Mitchell Reeves III.

George was a skilled trademen holding a number of jobs from Corporate to Construction.

George is survived by his wife, Fennie Bush Reeves, son, George Mitchell Reeves III (Thadra) grandchildren; Jalen Reeves, Jade Reeves, Jacob Reeves and Elijah Fortin. Siblings: Connie Mundy, Rhonda Taylor Parris (Keith), Maedon Clark (George), Benjamin Davis Jr. (Sharon) and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.

George is preceded in death by his parents; George Mitchell Reeves Sr. and Frances Ann Davis (Benjamin Davis Sr.).
