

Gisele Naar, 81, of Miramar, FL went to be with Lord on Friday, February 2, 2018 in Plantation, FL; She was born to the late Mercier and Odil (nee' Monuma) D'Haiti March 15, 1936 in Port Au Prince, Haiti, Gisele was the first born of their three children. She was very eager to learn and study hard in school, being a skilled dressmaker and worked diligently with her sister in law's Madeleine and Jacqueline. She came to the United States of America in December 1965, leaving her first born son, Philippe, in the loving care of her mother, Odil and the family of her husband, Joseph who left for France, on a scholarship, the month prior.
In the United States she worked various jobs, after the birth of her daughter, Liliane, she worked for the New York City Board of Education as an Teacher Assistant at Dr Gladstone Junior High School, in Brooklyn, NY and retired after twenty-five years as an (ESL) English as a second language.
Gisele got along well with everyone, with a ready smile and a hearty laugh. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, cousins, nieces, nephews, in law family, and friends.
She is survived by her beloved husband Joseph; son, Phillippe and his wife, Elaine; daughter, Liliane; granddaughters, Jenelle and Liana; sister in law Gislaine; nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.
The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation and thank you to all the family, friends, and neighbors for the acts of kindness and condolences to them in the time of sorrow.
