Gregory R. Ballinger

Born in Harrisburg, Pa., he was the son of Steven R. Ballinger, husband of Sally (Baker); and Lisa (Clauser), wife of Dr. Joel Sokoloff. Greg was a 2009 graduate of Exeter High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science in security and risk analysis in 2014, from Penn State University. Greg worked as a quality assurance specialist at Newscycle Solutions; a logistics manager at Lightspace Design; and lastly as an installation specialist of access control at Evidence Security.

Greg loved his family with all of his heart. He was an amazing friend, loved animals especially dogs, sports especially the Flyers, and working out. He had been studying for all of his computer security certifications, and had 2 down and 1 to go.

In addition to his parents, Greg is survived by his maternal grandparents, Russell and Harriet Clauser, of Exeter Township; and his paternal grandmother, Pamela Ballinger, of Harrisburg, Pa. Greg is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and James Southers, of Stuart, Florida; and his beloved nephew, Wesley Russell; his stepsister, Miriam Sokoloff, of Lafayette Hill; and a step-brother, Dylan Smith, of Lewisberry, Pa.

Greg also leaves behind many friends and NA family members who loved him very much.

A memorial gathering and service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
