Those who will cherish her memory are her husband of 30 years, Jerry Brightwell and her children; Crockett Herd, Connie & Jim Maddocks, Larry & Lisa Herd, Clifford & Claudia Herd, Benetta Herd, Glenn & Patti Herd; 15 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, AC "Tex" Herd.
Imogene was always happy and loved life. She enjoyed traveling, dancing and shopping. A wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed. Visitation will be from 11am - 1pm Saturday, March 26, 2016 followed by a funeral service at 1pm at Fred Hunters Downtown Fort Lauderdale Chapel, 718 S.
