Born in Hartford CT, Jackie passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family.
She was a resident of Florida for 62 years and has been an RN for 63 years. Jackie earned her Masters degree in Health Management from St. Thomas University. She was a member of the "Association for Professionals in Infection Control" (APIC), and had served as President of the Dade chapter.
Jackie was always taking care of someone, never thinking of herself. She was a loving aunt, sister and daughter. She will be missed by more than just her family. She is preceded in death by her father Antonio Perodeau, and mother Jessie.
She is survived by her brother Eugene S. Perodeau and sister-in-law, Rita; her sister Dorothy Perodeau; nephews Eugene M. Perdeau and wife Corinne; and Mark Perodeau and wife Cyndi; niece Melissa Peordeau; great nephews Michael Perodeau and Ryan Perodeau; great nieces Jayme Bitar and Taylor Perodeau; great-great-nephew Logan Bitar; and great-great-niece Shelby Bitar, and long time companion Larry Progosh. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society in Jackie's memory.
