Jacques Janvier

Jacques Janvier was born on May 12,, 1926 in Jacmel, Haiti to Normil Janvier and Mariella Janvier. He was the second oldest out of 12 children. At the age of 17, he decided to leave Jacmel to Port au Prince to further his education. He also met the love of his life, Delphine Cyprien in Port au Prince. From that marriage, they conceived 4 beautiful children. In fact, he had a total of 8 children.

He was extremely smart and possess a vast knowledge of "street smarts". He had visions and set up numerous goals in his life. Since he was the first of his siblings to come to Port au Prince, he formed a path for his brothers and sisters to join him for a better way of living. He was an entrepreneur. After the age of 50, he decided to give his life to God and become a minister and married the love of his life for the second time. Through becoming a minister, he formed his own church and brought many to salvation through his ministry.

He lived a full bountiful life. He was truly a happy person, always with a smile and constantly laughing and enjoying life. He was a very strong man all of the way to the end. He never asked for any help and never once complained about pain.

He left behind his children: Maggie, Marie, Michelle, Arthur, Nadine, Jean Joseph, Jude and Fritz. He also had multiple grandchildren; here are the names of just a few of them. Katucia, Mishael, Jevon, Chelcia, Tanelle, Jaden, Julie, Arleen, Ryan, Christopher Janvier , Jenny Janvier, Dave Janvier, and Gregory Pierre. He love and had a beautiful relationship with his God son/nephew Jean Marie Janvier.
