

Jean was born on January 30, 1972. He attended Pope John XXIII Central High School in Everett, Massachusetts. He later went on to graduate from Tufts University. He was proud to be a fellow "Jumbo". In addition, he attended Nova Southeastern University in Florida, earning a Master of Science. Jean was employed for many years with SpecialCare Hospital Management Corporation and during his tenure with the company, was the recipient of various promotions. Jean avidly cheered for the New England Patriots every season. Jean, his wife and children were members of Community Christian Church, Tamarac, Florida.
First and foremost, Jean was a devoted, loving, Husband, Father, Son, Brother, and Friend. Jean is survived by his wife (and forever soul mate), Dana Jaclyn Georges, his children; Mattaeo Jean Joseph Georges, Klohey Laren Georges, and Baylee Anderson Trautman, his parents; Jean H. Georges Sr. ("Bobby") and Annette M. Georges, his sisters; Katia Georges Pierre-Louis (Kenel), Ruthza Georges Vales, Sabine G. Georges, Myriam Georges, nieces and nephews; his uncles and aunts; Jean Norvil, Marie Norvil Etienne (Faublas), Eda Dorminville, Marie, Carme Blemur, Marie Claude St. Gerard Menelas, Micheline Jean-Charles, Dr. and Mrs. Serge St. Gerard, Dr. and Mrs Henriot St. Gerard, Carmelle St. Gerard-Lopez, Lucie (Rolande) St. Gerard, Regine Vincent (Avain, "special father"), his cousins; George and Garry Menelas ("brothers for life"), Thierry Desir, Dimitri Jean-Charles, Geneva Menelas, Pascal St. Gerard, Astrid Joseph, Joanne St. Gerard-Joshua, Nela Norvil, Marc Elie Norvil, Nicole, Nicolette, Kenel, Kenny Etienne, his mother and father in law; Debra J. Trautman and Kirk J. Trautman, his brother in law; Dustin K. Trautman, many special friends near and far, and beloved doggie children; Cupcake and Teddy. Jean was preceded in death by Germaine Georges (his "Gunny"), and Jean Thercius St. Gerard.
To quote the late Stuart Scott, one of Jean's favorite ESPN sportscasters whom he followed throughout his journey, "When you die, that does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live and the manner in which you live." Jean did just that.
Whatever your battle may be, keep fighting. Jean would want everyone to know, that it is all worth it in the end.
Per Jean's request, cremation will take place. A "Celebration of Life" will be held within the next few weeks. The date will be announced by his family.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Jean, donations may be made to Jean's children, C/O Dana J. Georges or the Colon Cancer Alliance (Blue Note Fund).
Per Jean's request, a "Celebration of Life" will be held on June 6, 2015 at 3p. The location is as follows: Community Christian Church, 10001 W. Commercial Blvd., Tamarac, FL 33351.
Immediately following the service, a balloon release will be held at: South Inlet Park Beach, 1100 S. Ocean Blvd., Boca Raton, FL 33432 (the location of our wedding).
