Jeanne Ann Burch, 64, passed away in Hospice by the Sea on Monday, April 15, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Fort Lauderdale Florida on June 22, 1948 to the late Joe Edd and Margret (nee Cash) Burch. For more than 32 years she worked at Florida's thoroughbred race tracks where her wonderful smile and great sense of humor endeared to her hundreds of patrons and coworkers alike. Her greatest enjoyment came from the hours she would spend gardening and cultivating her many orchids. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Smith, son Edward Etheridge, of Fort Lauderdale Fl, daughters Leslie Ethridge of Sunrise, Fl, and Laura Gaffglione of Pembroke Pines, Fl, brother George Burch and sister-in-law Alice Burch of Miami Shores, Florida. Also she is survived by four grandchildren, Austin and Kristin Gaffglione and EJ and Oliver Ethridge. A memorial service will be held Fred Hunter Memorial Gardens, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024 on Monday, April 22 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
