Joel Frias

The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Fred Hunters Funeral Home in Hollywood, FL. Visitation will be held between the hours of 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fred Hunters.

Joel or also known as “Joey” and “DJ Joey Fingaz” during his teenage DJ Career was born in New Jersey on April 27, 1989. He graduated from Everglades High School and continued on to attend Florida Atlantic University. Recently he completed a cyber security program that we were all proud of him for.

Joel was married to Adriana Frias on July 4, 2012; they were married for 8 years.

Joel was a jack of all trades and had a hunger to learn about anything he could. He worked in several positions in the tech field as well as the hospitality industry. He enjoyed playing video games, playing sports, music, and cooking. Joel would cook a mean meal on the grill, then educate you on how to create the best plant based burger you have EVER had. He was also actively involved in reading and speaking about the word of God. He loved to worship, and would exchange playlist songs that he loved. Joel served on the worship team at his church. Joel loved to offer a helping hand whenever possible and was appreciated for it each time.

Joel is survived by his Wife Adriana Frias, his daughter Bella Mia Frias, His parents Joe and Laura Frias, Siblings Justin Frias and Nicole Frias-Vega, and other family and friends.

Joel is preceded in death by Grandparents Ramona and Andres Frias.
