A celebration of life will be held from 5-9 pm on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Fred Hunters Funeral Home in Hollywood.
He will be laid to rest the next day Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Fred Hunters Memorial Garden across the street from the funeral home from 10-11 am.
Jose Steven was born in Manhattan, New York to Damaris Millan and Jose Encarnacion Jr. on October 9th, 1993 at 12:50 pm. He graduated from Everglades High School in Miramar, Florida. Steven loved sports, music, seafood, and cars. His favorite basketball team was the Miami Heat. He loved to listen to hip-hop, and reggae music. He loved the Fast and the Furious movie, eating snow crab legs, and drinking Dr. Pepper. He enjoyed playing sports and fast car video games.
However, he loved his mother overall things, and yes, he was a big momma's boy. God blessed him with a loving family that loved him dearly. He was a miracle baby and his mother, grandmother, grandfather, aunt, uncle, and siblings loved him unconditionally. Steven had a great heart just like his mother. He was kind and would always pay attention to what the family was going through and showed concern for everyone.
Sadly, we lost Steven on Wednesday, August 25th, 2021 at 8:03 am from COVID-19 and other health complications, but his soul is now resting in God’s arms. As believers “we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.”
~2 Corinthians 5:8~
Steven is survived by his mother, father, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
As the family of Jose Steven, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to the doctors at Memorial West, the nurses, and the entire staff who cared for him while he was at the hospital. We also would like to thank those that have called, texted, and have been supportive throughout this difficult time. God bless you all!
