Jose Mondelus

The funeral service will be held on January 16, 2021 at 11 am to 1 pm at Bethel Evangelical Baptist Church. Pastor Lioner Julien will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 on January 16, 2021 at Bethel Evangelical Baptist Church. Burial will follow the funeral at Fred Hunter on Taft St and 441 at 2:30 pm. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fred Hunter.

Jose Mondelus was born in Cap Haitien, Haiti on June 19, 1968.  He graduated from Lycee Alexandre Dumas and continued his education in New York. He received a degree in Music Technology from Westchester Community College. In 2018, he furthered his education and pursued a degree in Surgical Technology.

Jose worked as a Surgical Tech for several hospitals in South Florida. He enjoyed life, music, family and friends. He was also actively involved in many different churches as a choir director, musician, and a leader in the Haitian Community.

Jose is survived by his children Joshua and Johanna, his mother, father and siblings, other family and friends.

I believe that it’s best to remember Jose as he truly was a smiling, caring soul who always made time to help others through his ministry and his leadership. A great friend who would binge on ice cream with you or just send you that annoying text.  It is easy to dwell on the fact that Jose has left us too soon, but I’d prefer to remember all of the wonderful times that we all got to share with him while he was here

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Fred Hunters. The family of Jose Mondelus wishes to thank everyone for all their supports and participations.
